JA Cleveland Volunteer goes “Global” with JA Marketplace

Ramesh Shah is a dedicated JA volunteer who enjoys teaching middle grade students JA Global Marketplace program.
In 2006-07, 290 students learned about global economics, importing/exporting and currency exchange from Ramesh. 
In 2007-08, he reached 300 students with JA Global Marketplace.
This past Fall, Ramesh visited his native India and taught JA Global Marketplace to JA India students.




JA High School students use JA programs to prepare them for a future in education


The Cleveland Metropolitan School District has a program for high school students that prepares them for careers in education.
The Teaching Profession Academy (TPA) partners with JA and uses JA elementary programs as part of their students’ field experience.
During the 2007-08 school year, TPA students shared the JA experience with 1,800 elementary students.

 



Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland is currently accepting resumes
