Excellence & Ethics... an executive speaks:
|
Thanks to Northeast Ohio’s leadership, 2,448 high school students throughout Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain counties in public, private and parochial schools participated in JA’s Excellence & Ethics…an Executive Speaks program this year. This initiative is valuable for our students, our educators and our volunteers. In the words of one teacher: “Thank you for bringing such impressive people to our school!” Impressive people with an impressive message: making sound ethical choices, large and small, every day. Lisa Oliver, President, KeyBank – Cleveland writes: "I have been part of JA's Excellence in Ethics program for the last four years, working with Mr. Massey's senior class at Jane Addams High School. Each year I discuss ethics, specifically as it pertains to the financial services industry, and engage the students in a dialogue about the importance of managing their own finances. |

This has been an invaluable part of the partnership for them and me. They walk away with awareness about the importance of managing a checking account and credit, and I walk away knowing that the banking industry must continue to educate and support teens as they prepare to move into the workforce." |
